P.I.P. VS. Infection: How I Tell The Difference

One of the biggest worries when I started off as a beginner when it comes to going off with my very first Gear cycle is this - How do I tell the difference between PIP or getting an infection?

Because that's the first thing on my mind every single time I would pin.

It was probably frustrating because first of all, I knew I was being paranoid, but then at the same time, I would start battling with myself, well, maybe I'm just being cautious just to make sure. I was still a beginner so of course, I would get virgin PIP constantly, or if it's actually a real infection.

But before I get into that, let me just state this right here right now. I'm not a doctor, I'm only going off by my 14 plus years of experience of being on Gear. When it comes to between both ok, every time I would pin, I'm always going to get some kind of post injection pain, simply because I was a beginner.

So of course, every single muscle I would hit, it could be my glutes, my quads, my chest, my deltoids, there would be some type of discomfort, post injection pain, some kind of irritation, whatever it is, however you want to call it.

But something in me would always say, hey, oh my God, is this it? Is this the infection? Is this the part where holy crap, I'm now gonna have to go to the ER, admit to them that I was taking Gear, and now they're going to have to chop off my leg or my ass, or my deltoids. I am not even sure what the proper procedure is when it comes to an infection.

So for me to calm my ass down, for me to really get a grip, I called up a lot of my friends who are in the medical field, nurses, guys who are going through their med school, to the residents and stuff like that. So I actually had to physically ask them, just to make sure that I have a peace of mind.

When it comes to the actual image of it, the aesthetics of it, even though it's a bulking agent, it doesn't aromatize, but I'll get to that in a minute when it comes to the post cycle therapy stuff, it doesn't aromatize.

Because again, as any beginner, that's the first thing we'd always think of, right? I'm sure you've thought of as well. It's like, oh my God, is this an infection? Do I have to... I get that. So that's why I'm here to discuss it with you right now.

So nobody goes to this roller coaster of emotions ever again, because that's what it is. It's just a roller coaster of emotions, and it's a constant worry that I shouldn't have to worry about, as long as I really know what comes with a real infection.

So when it comes to any regular post injection pain, it's going to come. As a beginner, I'm always going to feel something, some kind of discomfort, some kind of pain, and it may last for about, say two to three days, or even as bad as say 5, 6, 7 days.

Even if it's homebrew, even if it's something pure, even if it's pharmaceutical grade, I'm always going to have some type of PIP because again, that muscle is brand new to pinning. So of course I'm going to get some type of PIP.

Now the difference between PIP and infection is this, this is what one of my friend told me, because I felt bad. She was going through class, and I would constantly bother her with my insecurities. Oh my God, hey, it feels weird here, and she was like, oh my God, really, you are going to call me again about this crap?

So I would constantly, you know, just text her over and over again. So pretty much this is the full breakdown of what she told me, how to differentiate between PIP and actual infection. The first one she said is this - Do you feel fine right now? Do you have some type of cold sweats running? Do you feel sick?

Do you feel lethargic? I was like no. Then calm down Kai, stop calling me, and she would hang up right away. So pretty much that, she said that's the first indication.

If I'm feeling fine, I'm feeling normal, I don't have some type of demonial like feeling to where I'm having cold sweats, feeling like I'm sick, feeling lethargic, feeling bad, then I'm completely normal, completely fine, and everything is just going back to my virgin muscle PIP. About a week later call her again.

I felt so bad, but she's still my really good friend now, she's awesome, she's always there for me, especially when it comes to my medical needs and stuff like that. The other one is this. She said that the next one would be the actual injection site.

Does it look cool? Does it look clear? Does it look normal? I am like, yeah. Then stop calling me. I'm like, why? Because if it was really an infection, then it would be purple, it would be blue, it would look absolutely terrible.

And there will be some kind of really inflated hard spot in the actual thing, because the Gear is not being accepted by my body, because there's some type of impurity that's in it. So that was another indication. In fact, she said, those are the two main indications that I would really just have to look for.

Everything else, she said, I just need to calm down, stop panicking, stop thinking that it's the end of the world. But then she figured it out too, right, because as a beginner, that's the main thing that a lot of guys go for. And I was going through that as well.

Even the pharmaceutical grade guys, the guys who are doing TRT , especially the ones that I have to, you know, take the vial home and actually have to pin myself. That's the main thing that I would always worry about, like, oh my God, is this it, is this the final right, is this the final pin.

So that's the one thing that I have to keep in mind. If everything looks cool, not feverish, no cold sweats, everything is fine. It would all circle back down just to virgin muscle post injection pain. Anything else like that, say, if it's purple, if it's blue, fever, sweating, I feel bad, I feel lethargic. Then of course, I'm going to have to make sure I go check in with my doctor just to have that peace of mind.

But if it's just pain, discomfort, even if it lasts for like, say a week, even as bad as say, a week and a half, then yeah, it just boils down or pretty much goes down to the point to where it's just post injection pain.

I just wanted to share that with you guys because I know there are hundreds of guys out there who is constantly just as overly paranoid as I was the very first time I started. Kai here, Formula Secrets here, out. Take care boys.
