So one of the things to drastically improve any person in your life, right, even yourself, is by going into a fitness journey. We all know that, that is literally one of the most fastest drastic ways to fully improve their image, their settings, and how good your girl's going to look. Anytime a couple goes into this fitness journey, a lot of people aren't really strategic about it, right?

They're not really, they just think, oh, lets just go to the gym, let's start a diet, let's do it all together. That is probably the wrong way to do because we already know how hard this type of lifestyle is, in terms of weight loss, in terms of the dieting and lifting program. So this is my guideline, because I've given this guideline to a lot of people, a lot of couples out there to where they're actually able to stick with that as well.

It's more of like a mental approach and a physical approach as well. The very first thing, do not start this fitness journey together, because check this out, say you guys start your diet together, what's gonna happen? You guys are going to be grouchy, grumpy, somebody's going to be craving something, you guys are pretty much going to each other's heads off because you guys are going through this type of phase.

For example, say both you guys go on a ketogenic diet, you and your girl, oh my God, the part where you're going to change from a ketogenic diet where you're burning the glycogen first and then you are switching to body fat, that phase right there, oh my God, you guys are gonna be both irritable, you guys are going to be angry all the time, you guys are gonna be both craving carbs. 

So here's the thing, any type of fitness journey, you have to take the lead as in as a guy, and I'm not trying to be politically correct about this, because anybody could lead, I get that part, but since I'm talking to you, and I know you're a masculine guy, you need to lead, you need to take the charge of this. So start it off by the first month, you need to take the lead first, start the diet program to where you're already able to adapt to it by the time she starts.

So first month, take the lead, start the diet, whatever it is ketogenic, carnivore, veganism, whatever it is, whatever you want to choose, but you have to take charge of it, because you're leading the way.

So by the time she's almost halfway through, you could warn her about the carb cravings, you could warn her about the headaches that's going to come, you could warn her about the struggles that you face through, so you're pretty much leading on the way.

Now the other part of it is this one, in terms of actually getting inside the gym, right? This is where a lot of guys make this mistake and it drives me freakin insane. There's a lot of exercises out there that's for both, guys and girls. But there are some exercises out there to where it's specifically for guys. So here's the thing. And I've always wanted to voice this - stop making your girl do bench presses and chest flies. 

Unless, of course you guys are into CrossFit, you guys are doing something or she needs something to where she needs to develop her anterior deltoids, bench pressing and chest flies is useless for a girl, stop making her do that, it doesn't do anything for her. That's like your girl, and you know what? 

All the girls out there, anyone who's watching this, if your guy makes you do bench pressing and chest flies, make him do your Kegel exercises, make him stand and squeeze their vagina if they make you do that, because it doesn't make sense. Like how guys shouldn't be doing Kegel exercises. There's certain exercises out there that are really meant more for girls. Certain exercises pout there that are just really meant more for guy.

So things like that, be strategic with your workouts as well. You do not need to be attached to the hip the entire time. When it comes to the gym etiquette stuff, let your girl rerack her own weights. That is probably one of the most powerful thing you could do for her. Stop treating her like she's some princess walking around the gym. She could grab her own weights, she could grab her own plates. 

Because what you're doing is making her independent, you want a badass girl to be with you, not some girl who's just following you around the gym, ok, babe, what do I do now? Oh, I got this, I'll get that for you. That is so condescending for us guys to do. Could you imagine another bigger guy than you, bro, I got this, let me grab your plates for you, just stand there, stand there and look pretty, I'll grab your weights. 

Here is your 85 pound dumbbells, here you go. I'll rerack... You know what I mean? That would be so - it's like dude, what are you doing? Fuck off. I will do my own shit. The same exact thing with your girl make her be more independent, empowered, because there's gonna be some days to where she can't work out with you.

You may be working, you might have a work trip, you might have to be traveling, guess what - she needs to still keep up with her workouts and you don't make her become independent by giving her everything. Let her figure stuff out on her own. So when it comes to all that, start having that mindset of she is going to become independent later on in the road, right?

Knowing how to do squats, knowing how to rerack the weights, knowing how to turn on those machines, let her become independent, show her the ways because you are starting off first, and then make her become more independent. So stop reracking your girls weights, I get it, logically, it makes sense, because for us guys, you know, we want to open the doors for her, we want to walk into the outside part of the sidewalk. 

All that crap, leave that outside the gym. You want a badass girl who could rerack her own weight, pick up her own stuff, do her own thing, while you are there supporting her by cheering her on, babe you got this, squeeze that ass a little bit more, get lower with your squats, stuff like that. And in terms of relationship building, brother, this is freaking huge, because you know what you're doing?

If you don't really know this, if you're not really into this whole mental approach of it, what you're doing is you're creating small challenges, right? Anytime you make small challenges as a couple together, and you actually achieve it, you're going to grow together, because that's the thing. If the challenge is too difficult, and you guys can't achieve that, you guys are going to start to resent each other. 

But if you do controlled chaos, if you do controlled challenges like that, you guys are going to grow together. There are certain things out there to where if everything's too perfect, you guys are gonna get bored with each other. You know, one of the things that I personally do, and I do this all the time, it doesn't even matter if it's at the gym, it doesn't matter if it's a casual conversation. 

I start small little arguments to where I know for sure it's not going to destroy the girl. Some of the girls that I am talking about are probably like oh, that's what you're doing. You know me, I pick little, not real fights, certain things like, I don't think you should be wearing that tonight. Little things like that, you know, because I know I can make that up, I know I can make her feel good afterwards.

You can't have too much of a perfect life or she will get bored. So instead of waiting for that thing to happen, make small challenges and this is probably one of the biggest one, because you know you're able to finish up a diet. You could lead her into that, you know you could finish up a good workout and you can lead her to that either.
