It's time to bench-press some 315s, some one rep maxes, some PRs in my very first week, because I feel good. Not only that I feel good, I feel strong. Not only that I feel strong, I'm tossing these weights like they don't even exist. In fact, I feel like I'm in this anti-gravity type of feeling.
And any sane, normal person would be like I feel strong, I feel good, I feel like Superman. Why wouldn't I take advantage of this? So why wouldn't any normal sane person do some PRs right from the get go? Right on week one, first week on Test, let's do this. I'll tell you why.
Because it's a terrible idea. Not only that's a terrible idea, it would really mess me up if I were to do any PRs in week one, week two, even on week three on my very first cycle, because it would ruin the entire cycle after that.
What do I mean by ruin? I'm talking about getting my pecs torn off the bone. I'm talking about getting my shoulders messed up. I am talking about extreme injuries. This is the reason why my basic protocol when it comes to strength stuff, I don't do anything at all within the first four weeks of a cycle. Why?
Because even though I feel like Superman, even I feel like it's beyond that, fuck Superman, even if I feel like the Incredible Hulk and I can move some heavy ass weight, it's very tempting. And this is guys biggest flaw right here, because again, as a natural, when we're gaining stuff as a Natty.
As a pheasant, it takes such a very long time that their joints and their ligaments have plenty of time to adapt to the mediocrity gains that they're getting. Except for me and you, we get so strong so quickly, that our joints and ligaments can't even comprehend all this new muscle tissue in there.
When it comes to the actual image of it, the aesthetics of it, even though it's a bulking agent, it doesn't aromatize, but I'll get to that in a minute when it comes to the post cycle therapy stuff, it doesn't aromatize.

The only thing I'm going to be concentrating on right now within the first four weeks is just my basic lifts, keeping all my repetitions between 8 to 15 reps. I'm not even going anywhere near my one rep max, let alone four reps either.
I'm just concentrating on ok, I'm going to give my body time to adapt, I'm going to see how I feel now, even though I could just start stacking on the plates like let's freakin do this. Why? Because I've done that before. And guess what, when I was dead lifting, I injured my back.
It was like the first two weeks of a cycle. Bad news bearers all around, my back was out of commission for the next six months. So imagine just laying there and not being able to do anything, slowly walking everywhere.
Dude, I didn't even know, check this out, I didn't even know that your back will dictate how you feel when you're standing there to pee. I didn't even know that your back will dictate how you feel when you just standing there, just to stand there. Like I was standing there like, oh my God, I can't even hold myself up. It was insane.
So that's one of my basic protocols when it comes to strength, when it comes to anything strength oriented, I do not even do any PRs, I'm doing the most boring shit. I'm that guy who does nothing but Smith machines, machines in general. I may look at the free weights, I might touch it a little bit, I might pet it like it's my dog or something, but that's it.
I don't do anything at all to compromise my health. Why? I would rather sacrifice the first two to three weeks looking like a pheasant, even though I'm getting jacked, doing everything I can to hold myself back, because the weeks after that, Jesus Christ!
Because the weeks after that, then I could take advantage of by one rep maxes, my PRs, my lifts, throwing some heavy ass weights after that. That's the one thing I have to keep in mind. Again, even though I'm telling you this, there are some guys, like yeah, yeah, because here's the thing about guys, and I totally get this, here's the thing about men.
Sometimes to only way for us to learn is to get injured. So this is just more like a friendly reminder, because don't matter how much I will tell a guy do not do this, they're gonna be like, yeah yeah. A week later, hey, hey Kai, my shoulder feels kind of weird, or like, hey Kai, my chest isn't centered anymore. Like what are you talking about?
It's blue and purple, and it's right off my body. What do I do? Dude, what do you want me to do about that? So a conclusion is this - the first four weeks with me being on any cycle, I will not do any type of strength oriented program only because I want to make sure my chest isn't a little bit off to the side.
I want to make sure that my shoulders isn't popping off my body. I want to make sure that I'm healthy the entire time. So pretty much view this as a PSA, don't be stupid at the gym, get shit done, be smart about everything. Kai here, take care.
