One way or another man, no matter how enthusiastic we are, no matter how driven you are, no matter how many inspirational movies or David Goggin YouTube videos we watched, we are going to get burned out. It doesn't matter what it is, no matter how passionate we are either, you could take a certain hobby, if it's so difficult, after a while, you might even start to resent that, no matter how much passion we have towards it.
This is the thing what I love about lifestyle cycling, my entire life I knew about, you know, fitness and bodybuilding and all that stuff, my entire life, I literally dedicated my life into it, doing everything I can, the lifting and doing all that, and then the moment I found out about Gear, I even took that to the next level. I'm talking about really dedicate my life to it, competing, NPC, all that stuff.
Some days, man, there were some days to where I kid you not, and some of you guys who do compete can relate to this, my pinning session, my pinning session meaning this, where I'd walk up to my sacred table, put everything down, I would have my pinnables, my orals, my human growth hormones, my peptides as well.
Doing all of that on a day to day basis, it would take longer than my workout. Are you freaking kidding me? Could you imagine pinning for 30 minutes, 45 minutes? And this is me pre loading by the way, because somebody's like, well, what would you preload? Dude, I did all that, right, I did it the most efficient way. And some days my pinnables would take so long that I would literally go to the gym way faster than my pinning session.
Now, I loved it, I loved every part of it, but the one drawback to that is I did sacrifice a lot of things in my life. I really did. I would abandon some of my friends sometimes, I would neglect some of my academics, I would neglect a lot of stuff that I would feel like, you know, turn me to a better person all around, right, like a much more well rounded person. But I was so dedicated towards that, I was blinded by the type of passion.
When it comes to the actual image of it, the aesthetics of it, even though it's a bulking agent, it doesn't aromatize, but I'll get to that in a minute when it comes to the post cycle therapy stuff, it doesn't aromatize.

Dude, I just have like four, maybe five healthy meals a day, cheat meals once or twice a week. And I'm able to have a sane mind. Why? Because I'm not going into full glycogen depletion. I'm not going into full ketogenic diet. My pin sessions isn't 45 minutes, I'm able to actually wake up and enjoy and I look forward to pinning. Like, I can't wait for Monday. this is my pin days, Monday, Wednesday, Friday. Why?
Because like, oh my God, I only have to pin three? That's it. A couple orals here and there, that's it. And yes, I do have my human growth hormone on a day to day basis, but it's so small, I preload those, boom, done, nice and easy. So easy to maintain. And I believe, honestly that is probably one of the best recipes for success in life, something to where it's little to no effort, because if it's something hard, just think about it logically, do I really want to do that?
Do I really want to push myself to the point to where I'm dreading the hobby, the passion that I supposedly love to where I'm going to start to resent that. I do want to address for the guys out there who say, oh, you're roiding out for that physique? Yes, I am, because what you see is a pretty decent physique, right? But you're thinking that oh, I'm doing Gear, why am I not looking like Jay Cutler?
Why am I not looking like Riley Winkler? Why am I not looking like Brandon Curry? Because that is not my goal. I am not that simple minded. I have so much more, definitely to my character, I have bigger aspirations then having a bigger biceps, because look, if you really think about it, right, check this out, if that was my goal, to be the next IFBB pro, to get my pro card, let's not forget, if I were to take that pathway, what else am I sacrificing?
Because if I were to take that pathway, I'd have to abandon a lot of other stuff in my life. And say if I don't make it, that would be my biggest fear. Say I do get my pro card, but I don't have the genetics to excel, because how many Mr. Olympias are really out there for the past decade? There's not a lot, there's only a very few. There's a reason why Phil Heath would just win every single year, there's a reason why there's only like one new Mr. Olympia once in a long while.
Why? Because you have to be that genetically gifted. So for all the other guys below Phil Heath, below Ronnie Coleman, below Jay Cutler, what do they have to show for it? 10 grand, here you go, and here's a little plastic trophy. Oh, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you for this you guys, thank you so much. While their financial stability, gone, it's not stable at all whatsoever.
And let's not even talk about how socially awkward these guys are. I'm sorry to say it man, but that's the truth. When you're so sacrificed on being alone, going to the gym by yourself, dieting down to the point where you can't even think, this is the thing that I'm really trying to encourage guys, simply because of this man - when it comes to that you sacrifice a lot of shit.
That's why there's a lot of socially awkward gurus out there about this topic, recording in the middle of the basement, not talking to anybody, fucking weird dudes. Because that's the sacrifice that they're willing to take. Now there's nothing wrong with that, but is that the lifestyle for me? No, not at all. Dude, I want to enjoy life man, I want to be able to see multiple different girls, I want to be able to watch different documentaries, I want to be able to really hone into other financial success that I want to get into.
Not I got, I got my biceps, now what, what else do I have to show for it? I got my biceps. That's it. No, that's so limited. That's so small minded type of mentality and I just can't do that. It's like this dude, it's like trying to get my pro card, ok, that's like me trying to be the next Tiger Woods. We could argue about, there's a chance for me to get there, but how small of a chance is it? How much of a tiny opportunistic way?
So from my perspective man, no, it's not worth it, it's not worth it at all when I could see the other part of it, oh, look all this amazing life I could have compared to pro card. Yeah, so if somebody were to ask me oh my God, I can't believe you're roiding here for that physique, I am, because what you don't see is the other things that I'm absolutely killing in life, other things where I am excelling, I'm doing amazing, I'm kicking ass, like yeah, am I roiding our physique?
Absolutely. What you're seeing is the other stuff that you don't get to see that I'm living in life, and all that is coming from Gear. The type of endurance in terms of my mental aspect of it, that comes from testosterone. There is no way I'm this creative without taking testosterone. There's no way I would have the mental endurance without the testosterone.
There's no way I would have to, you know, have the ability to, check this out, eat whatever the fuck I want and not have a Full consequence of it. That's what people don't see. So am I roiding out to have pizza? Am I roiding out to have Chipotle all the goddamn time, and not being penalized for it. That's pretty much what it is man. I want to be able to do as much as I want in life without limitations and not being penalized for it.
A much better goal from my perspective, I don't know, you could argue about it, you let me know in the comment section. I think that's a better lifestyle then - ok, so I got 22 inch arms now. This is good. Am I excelling in life now? I got a competition. I might win like 300 bucks. Does that sound appealing to you?
No. Me going to jet skis and resorts and having a good time. And also on top of that, being able to state that I have other things going on in my life to where I'm absolutely excelling. That to me it's so much better, a well-rounded person who has everything together and not bicep curls. Anyways, email, description. Other than that boys, Kai here, out. Take care.
